Our Community

We feel it is important to maintain involvement in community life and social interaction, we welcome family and friends to be involved in life at the home. We have adapted frequently and promptly to maintain Covid safe visits to the Home, including creating a covid safe visiting cabin.

Residents

Our Ladies and Gentlemen have a range of residential care needs. It is lovely to see friendship develop among residents.

We have many lovely communal rooms within the home where residents can chose to spend time. The garden lounge is always a hive of activity, the conservatory is a beautiful space with air conditioning and heating for year round use.

The House

The Towans was originally built as a Victorian ‘Gentleman’s Residence’ over-looking the Dunes and Beach. It has been extended and updated over the years to become the Home it is now, to offer both traditional and more modern en-suite Bedrooms, and many other comfortable and atmospheric spaces to enjoy and facilities to enable our Residents to live their best lives in our care.

As you drive up our tree lined drive, enjoy the trees which are protected and a haven for wildlife.
